Public comment now open – draft model Work Health and Safety Code of Practice for Preventing and Responding to Workplace Bullying

To support the model Work Health and Safety Act, Safe Work Australia has released a draft model Code of Practice for Preventing and Responding to Workplace Bullying for public comment. The draft model Code of Practice is accompanied by a Workers Guide to managing workplace bullying. A Consultation Regulation Impact Statement on the model Code will also be released for comment once it is approved by the Office of Best Practice Regulation.

Public comment will close on Monday 15 July 2013 at 5:00pm AEST.

This model Code of Practice was previously released for public comment from 26 September 2011 to 16 December 2011. The current draft model Code of Practice includes amendments made to reflect the comments received. The previous version of the draft model Code of Practice and submissions received are available on the Draft model Work Health and Safety Codes of Practice – Public Comment (second set) webpage.
